UC3M is committed to participating in international programmes that allow us to broaden our knowledge base and collaborate with other research groups and technology leaders to tackle projects from a global perspective. We are part of initiatives such as the European alliance YUFE, the YERUN network, the Office for the promotion of research and innovation activities in Europe, Conex Plus and the Chairs of Excellence.
The Library supports research staff in evaluation processes, such as sexenios and accreditations. It supports open science initiatives with services and infrastructures. Databases, scientific journals and other resources for research and innovation are accessible on its website. It also provides advice for the dissemination of scientific activity.
UC3M has specific services and resources to support its research staff and knowledge transfer. These include the Research Service, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support Service, and the Research Support Centre. It also has unique laboratories and infrastructures, as well as a Science Park in Leganés Tecnológico, which is the headquarters of the IA Cluster of the Community of Madrid and the R&D&i Office in Brussels. It also actively participates in R&D&i platforms and networks and innovation and entrepreneurship centres.
UC3M is a leader in knowledge transfer and the promotion of public-private cooperation. It has a wide range of technological and knowledge offerings. It collaborates in regional, national and international innovation projects and in promoting the ecosystem. It has programmes for the creation of spin-offs and incubation and acceleration programmes for Knowledge-Based Companies at the C3N-IA Science Park. It is also committed to the early development of its students' entrepreneurial skills through its own and external entrepreneurship programmes.
