EMPLOYABILITY TRAINING PROGRAMME IN DIGITAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCES
The Community of Madrid, together with all of Madrid's universities, is launching a "pioneering" training programme in new technologies and digital skills aimed at university students, together with leading companies in the sector (Telefónica, Deloitte, Banco Santander and Amazon, among others).
Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Marketing, Process Automation, Internet of Things, etc., are some of the subjects that will be taught in this new programme, which was born out of the need to respond to the demand from the business sector to improve the digital skills and abilities of graduates in order to improve their employability.
This voluntary training, common to all universities in Madrid with a single 200-hour degree (20 ECTS), will be taught in all university centres in the Community of Madrid from the next academic year 2022-23 and can be taken in any of them.
This programme is part of the universities' lifelong learning courses, and its title (CAPACITA D) will allow employers to know the level of digital skills of university students on a scale of 1 to 4, as is the case with foreign languages.
This qualification is aimed at the 200 000 students who have completed 50 per cent of the Bachelor's degree credits and first-year graduates for a one-off price of 500 euros.
Teaching Modality
Teaching will be of three types: face-to-face, synchronous online and asynchronous online.
Enrollment until October 4 (limited places)
