In accordance with current legislation, Student Insurance is mandatory and the cost for this coverage is 1.12 €.
Groups exempt from payment
- Students who are 28 years old or over at the beginning of the academic year.
- Students who have already paid the amount at another school/university and present proof of payment.
- Research personnel in training who, by Royal Decree 63/2006, 27 January, which sanctions the Statutes for research personnel in training (BOE num. 29, 3 February 2006), are covered in the General Bylaws of Social Security.
