Assessment criteria

The Evaluation Committee will only take into consideration the publications/patents meeting the criteria below:

• Publications/patents related to the subject of the thesis
• Ph.D. candidate and thesis advisor(s) are listed as authors
• Publications/patents that have been published/accepted during the period between:
  • Start date: date of first enrollment of the candidate in the Ph.D. program 
  • End date: 2 months after the thesis defense

Criteria for assessment of publications:

• JCR-indexed publications, stating the quartile according to the year of publication or, failing that, last year registered
• Patents in use
• Ranking of the candidate on the authors list
• Number of citations
• Number of authors
• Other publications/patents
