Description
The research group Mechanics of Advanced Materials is composed by a multidisciplinar team of Aeronautical, Civil, Mechanic and Material Engineers. The activities of the group are cantered, mainly, in the analysis and modelization of composite and sandwich structural elements subjected to impulsive loads, and in the study of the damage tolerance of this kind of structures. The group has an extensive experience in the development of non-standard test methodologies.
