Arturo Mora-Soto es estudiante de doctorado en el Laboratorio de Ingeniería de Software en la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Su investigación incluye: collaborative Web environments, new e-learning trends and Six Sigma applications in the software engineering realm, especialmente en process improvement

Ha trabajado como ingeniero de software, así como un profesor universitario en México desde 2000. Tiene una licenciatura en ciencias de la computación del Instituto Tecnológico de Celaya (ITC), México, un Master en comercio electrónico, así como un Master en Ciencias de la Computación y Tecnología de la Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
