Description
Universidad Carlos III de Madrid intends, through this call, to provide graduate students with the necessary resources so that they can carry out their studies in research-oriented Master's degree programs, providing them with funding linked to the fulfillment of specific objectives.
For all these reasons, UC3M announces, for the academic year 2025/2026, scholarships for studies in the University Master's Degree programs listed in Annex I of this Resolution.
Number of scholarships available
- 42 scholarships. 5% of the total amount of grants awarded is reserved for students with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%.
Amount of aid
The aid will consist of a scholarship that will cover the amount of the prices corresponding to the ECTS of the first enrollment of the complete course, and an additional financial aid for study for a total amount of €10,000 that will be paid proportionally throughout the first and second semester of the 2025-26 academic year.
Length
One academic year (2025/26). In those Master's Degree programs whose duration is longer than one academic year (1 additional semester for 90 ECTS and 2 for 120 ECTS), the scholarships may be renewed for the academic year 2026-27.
Requirements
Those persons who have applied for admission for the 2025-26 academic year to one of the university master's degrees indicated in ANNEX I may apply for the study scholarships regulated in this call for applications, as long as there is no resolution denying such admission.

- Master in Advanced Studies in Public Law
- Master in Advanced Human Rights Studies
- Master in Economic Analysis
- Master in Business and Finance (MRes)
- Master in Electronic Systems Engineering
- Master in Materials Science and Engineering
- Master in Quantum Technologies and Engineering
- Master in Industrial Mathematics (Interuniversity)
- Master in Social Sciences
- Master in Machine Learning for Health
- Master in Robotics and Automation
Necessary paperwork
The required documentation attached to the application is as follows:
- a) Curriculum vitae in Spanish or English.
- b) When applicable, proof of the degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%.
Only documentation submitted in Spanish or English will be accepted.
Non-submission of the application through the aforementioned university application within the required deadlines will result in the applicant's rejection from this call for applications.
Selection criteria
For the evaluation and subsequent preparation of the corresponding award proposal, the Committee will take into account the following criteria and scale:
- Score obtained in the admission process to the corresponding Master's program: up to 9 points
- Curriculum Vitae of the applicant: up to 1 point
Award decision
The resolution granting the aid, with the definitive list of the selected candidates and, if applicable, the prioritized list of candidates in reserve, will be published in the BOEL and on this website.
Application and forms
Two periods are established for the submission of applications:
- Ordinary period: from the day following the publication of this call on the University's website, until March 31, 2025
- Extraordinary period (for programs with vacancies): from April 10 to May 31, 2025
