Gema García Albacete 

Is an Associate Professor of Political Science in the Department of Social Sciences at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Mannheim in 2011, where she also worked as a lecturer. She currently co-directs the Master’s Program in Political and Electoral Analysis at UC3M. Her teaching focuses mainly on the field of political behavior. Her research centers on inequalities in political engagement based on age, gender, and/or origin. She has published her work in various scientific journals, including Social Forces, International Journal of Press Politics, West European Politics, and International Journal of Public Opinion.
