Professor Daniel Andreas Verdú Schumann
University Professor.
He holds a BA in Fine Arts (UCM, 1996), a BA in History (UNED, 1999), a MA in Latin American Literature and Culture (University of London, 1998) and a PhD in Philosophy (2004). He has taught and/or performed research stays at various English (Cambridge), German (Saarbrücken, Siegen, Bremen, Potsdam, Freie Berlin, Humboldt Berlin) and Italian (Roma La Sapienza) universities. Between 2017 and 2019 he was Humboldt Experienced Researcher at the University of Paderborn (Germany). He has also taught or given lectures at Spanish universities (UCM, CSIC, UNIR) and collaborated with museums (MNCARS, MACBA, IVAM), institutions (FECYT, Madrid+D, DAAD) and media companies (Filmaffinity, Cadena SER). He speaks English, German, Italian and some French.
His main research fields are contemporary art, cinema and cultural studies, topics on which he has published extensively.
