Professor Florabel Quispe Remón
Florabel Quispe Remón, is a Lawyer, holding a PhD in Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), and is an Associate Professor of Public International Law and International Relations at this University. She is the author of monographs, book chapters and research articles that have appeared in prestigious publications and impact indexed journals, both national and foreign. She has carried out research stays at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights (San José, Costa Rica), the Cujas Library (Paris), and at Middlesex University London (London), as well as courses at the American University College of Law (Washington), the Institut international des droits de l'homme (Strasbourg, France) and the Ford Foundation (Vermont, United States). Her lines of research are Human Rights, Sustainable Development Goals, Integration Processes in Latin America, among others. She has helped and participated in numerous competitive research projects, in some as Principal Investigator (PI), and she has recently been Co-PI in a project on cybersecurity. She has taught and teaches classes in various undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in national and foreign universities. In addition, she has practiced law, providing professional services to the private and public sectors and to NGOs.
