Professor Francisco Seoane Pérez
Full Professor in the Department of Communication and Deputy Vice-Rector for Communication at Carlos III University of Madrid (UC3M). PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Leeds (United Kingdom).
His specialty is political communication, understood as the study of the relationship between representatives, the media, and citizens. From 2010 to 2015, he was part of the founding team of the School of Journalism at the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
His research has explored the digital mobilization of political activists, the reasons for the distant and apolitical nature of the European Union, and the role of political journals in the circulation of ideas, with fieldwork in the United States and Europe.
