Professor Marco Celentani
Marco Celentani holds a degree in Economics and Commerce from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, a Master of Arts in Economics and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. He is a full professor in the Department of Economics at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. His research activity is focused on game theory and its applications to executive compensation, political economy, economics of crime and economic analysis of law. He has led and participated in competitive European, national and regional projects, as well as in the organisation of international conferences. He has extensive teaching experience, having taught and coordinated undergraduate and postgraduate courses and having supervised several doctoral theses. In the area of university management at the Carlos III University of Madrid, he has been secretary of the Institute of Economics, responsible for the recruitment of teaching staff in the Department of Economics, member of the permanent commission of the Department of Economics, vice-dean of academic exchanges in the Faculty of Social and Legal Sciences and deputy vice-rector of Postgraduate Studies. He is currently director of the Doctoral School.
