Eva Söderman is working at the Student affairs and academic registry division since Jan 2011. At the division she is the Head of the Study Counsellors and Career Office.
Her responsibilities include central student service office and central study and career guidance for all students. Eva is also responsible for, among other things, for example widening participation, support to students with disabilities, information to students in print and on the web, student health and the national scholastic aptitude test.

Ms. Mareanne Karssen

As the Program Manager Education at VU University Amsterdam, Mareanne Karssen is responsible for the coordination of the Agenda on Education, designed to improve the quality of academic teaching (both in terms of staff and course structure), thereby increasing the number of students that successfully finish the programs. The Agenda has a total budget of M€ 39; the University has approximately 24.000 students and 135 study programs. As Program Manager she is attached to the Office of the Provost and directly accountable to the Provost.
Her main Tasks are:
- to monitor the implementation of the Agenda on Education
- to supervise most of its projects
- to analyse results
- to improve collaboration between faculties and supporting services in implementing the Agenda

Ms. Päivi Karimäki - Suvanto

In her current position, Päivi is responsible for managing the administration in the Faculty which is one of the largest in the University (with ~500 staff, 8000 students). The Head of Faculty Administration plays a central role in managing and developing the administration at the faculty level as well on its departments. Head of Faculty Administration provides managerial support for the dean and the heads of departments in their strategic leadership. The Dean and Head of Administration form a close working partnership that integrate academic issues with the resources and finances in order to achieve Faculty’s targets in the most effective way.
Päivi is responsible for the implementation of the decisions made by Dean and preparing the faculty strategy and the human resources plan and budget contained in it as well overseeing the achievement of the objectives set for the faculty administration.
One of her many roles as a Head of Administration is also to follow the impacts of the changes and new reforms that are taking place in the university policy on national and international scale and try to implement the best practices of them to the faculty level.

The role of University Secretary provides advice and support to the University's Council and governance structure, working closely with the University Executive Board and acting as Secretary to the Council and to the Senate.
Andrew is also responsible for student and academic services within the University, with a wide remit covering student recruitment and admissions, academic services including learning and teaching support, registry and student administration, careers and employability, and a broad range of student support services.

Mr. Jyri Pulkkinen

Head of Training Theatre
Jyri Pulkkinen is working as the Head of Training Theatre. The Training Theatre hosts 40-50 premiers per year in several different venues of the Theatre Academy. The staff (producers, designers and technical crew) of the Theatre works in close co-operation with teachers and students as well as with researchers. Jyri Pulkkinen is also working as Manager of Occupational Health and Safety of the University.
University of the Arts Helsinki was launched in 2013 upon the merging of the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, Sibelius Academy, and Theatre Academy Helsinki. It offers training at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. Research at the university focuses on the arts and art pedagogy; it can be artistic or developmental.

Jan van de Pas works as senior corporate legal officer and as deputy head of the Legal Office at Utrecht University. He is specialized in labour law, governance, intellectual property and editing (international) contracts. He represents the Executive Board in legal cases in the Court of Justice. As a legal officer he has intensive contacts with managers of other corporate offices, faculties, departments and services. He participates in project groups consisting of employers from different disciplines within the university. He sees it as his task as legal officer not only to act whenever there is a problem but to act before there is a problem. As a result he is highly interested in strategy of universities in national and international context which he sees as an important factor for his work.

Agis has joined University of Cyprus since its establishment in 1991 and is involved in the new Campus development and Infrastructure. He is currently the Director of Estates as well as Director of Campus Development Office.
Since 1991 he has been managing the planning and implementation of UoC strategy in terms of accommodation and premises and particularly with the development of a new University Campus aiming to accommodate 10.000 + students, nine Faculties and 2.000 staff and researchers up to year 2000. They are currently working to implement Phase B´of this development, which includes eight projects of an overall budget around €217 million.
Due to the early retirement of the Director of Administration and Finance (DAF) of University of Cyprus, he has been appointed as Deputy DAF for the period March 2014 to March 2015, dealing with the management, planning and coordination of UoC Administrative Services and support of all Governing bodies.

This position is part of the executive management team which is managed by the Senior Administrator of the University. In the Faculty of Medicine at UAB there are around 230 people working in the administration and services and more than 750 teachers and researchers. We have more than 3.000 students undergraduate and postgraduate distributed in 6 teaching units, of which 5 are in university hospitals.
As a Centre Administrator, Rosa Fedi has responsibilities in several processes of human resources, building, budget, students and cultural and academic activities. She is responsible for the leadership and development of the staff and for managing the teams in the administration and services of the Faculty and other structures related, where there are 11 departments, 2 scientific and technical services and 2 research institutes.
The Centre Administrator acts as a technical consultant to the Governing Academic Body of the Faculty (the Dean and his academic team) as well as she provides managerial support for the heads of departments and research institutes. In the Faculty of Medicine, the Dean and the Centre Administrator work closely in order to improve efficiency and to achieve the objectives of the Faculty in the context of the university policy. Her contribution is about the overall strategy and operational strategies of the Faculty and she has to ensure the effective running of the services.

Arto Halinen is working as the Head of Administration at the Faculty of Science of the University of Helsinki.
The Faculty of Science is the biggest one in the University of Helsinki, currently with more than 1,000 staff members and 7,000 students in five Departments of the Faculty.
The Head of Faculty Administration is in charge of the operations in the Faculty Office and acts as the supervisor of the Faculty staff, and also acts as the administrative expert within the Faculty. The Faculty Office, for instance, prepares the matters related to quality management, degrees, student admissions and degree requirements for the Faculty decision-making.
