Ching-to Albert Ma - Boston University (USA)
Ching-to Albert Ma graduated in Economics and Statistics from the University of Hong Kong, has a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Manchester, and a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics.
He is a Professor in the Economics Department at the University of Boston. He has lectured at the University of Hong Kong and Boston University and was also Visiting Professor at the University of Oslo, the University of Lausanne, and at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
He is the President of the Chinese Economic Association in North America; Director of the Economics Department at Boston University and the Industry Studies Program. He was co-editor of the Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, editor of Journals in Economic Analysis and Policy and is a member of the committee for the Arrow Award.
Dr. Ching-to Albert Ma has taken part in over one hundred conferences and seminars and is the co-author of several research-based publications such as Optimal Health Care Contracts under Physician Agency, Health Insurance, Cost Expectations and Adverse Job Turnover and Capacity Constraint and Monopoly Regulation under Asymmetric Information.
During his career he has received many awards and distinctions, such as the LSE’s Honda Prize, or the Ronald Hsia Prize in Economics, awarded by the University of Hong Kong.
