Advisory Board (art.43)
The Advisory Board is a consultative body which assists the President and the Governing Council in academic matters.
Members
Duties and competence
The Advisory Board may issue reports on academic matters at the President’s request or as agreed by the Governing Council. In any case, the President be required to hear the proposal beforehand, prior to directly proposing the creation of a post in accordance with paragraph 23 of Article 103 section 1 of these Statutes, and provided that this has been established in said Statutes.
The board may also submit proposals to the President or through members of the Governing Council..
Composition
The Advisory Board is chaired by the President and comprises the General Secretary counsel and ten members appointed by the Governing Council, having been proposed by the President from among the university professors with acknowledged prestige and with sufficient merit in terms of teaching and research, five of whom should have completed at least three six- year research periods and the remaining two, two six- year research terms.
