Intensive Language course

Intensive Language Courses

BOOST YOUR MOBILITY!

The UC3M Language Center offers intensive courses (20 hours) in ENGLISH, GERMAN, ITALIAN and PORTUGUESE for all levels and sub-levels, provided there is a sufficient number of students enrolled in the level. Interested students must first take an online placement test for that purpose.

FACE TO FACE COURSES

English, German, Italian and Portuguese intensive courses are offered at the Getafe campus in the morning.

Duration: 20 hours of face-to-face lessons

Timetables:

  • English, German and Italian courses: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10:00 to 12:30
  • Portuguese courses: Mondays and Wednesdays, 10:00 to 12:30 

Course dates: 

  • Mondays and Wednesdays groups: From April 7 to May 12, 2025
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays groups: From April 8 to May 13, 2025

ONLINE COURSES

English, German, Italian and Portuguese courses are offered online in the afternoon.

Duration: 20 hours of teaching in a virtual classroom.

All teaching hours are taught with a teacher.

Live classes.

Timetable: 

  • Italian and Portuguese courses: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 15:30 to 18:00
  • English and German courses: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 18:00 to 20:30

Course dates:

  • From April 8 to May 13, 2025

FEES

  • UC3M students and UC3M community: 145 €
  • Outside the UC3M: 170 €

REGISTRATION

Registration period 2C 2024/2025: From March 3 to 26, 2025

Expanded for certain levels

Fill in the registration form of the language you want to study:

  • English course registration form
  • German course registration form
  • Italian course registration form: open only for online group level A1
  • Portuguese course registration form: open only for face to face and online groups level A1

When you submit the form, you will find the link to the level test that you will have to take, if you have previous knowledge of the language, to determine which level you can access.

IMPORTANT

All registrants will receive an email from the Language Centre after the registration period has ended.

The start of the courses is subject to a minimum number of students.
