- CURRICULUM
STRUCTURE
The curriculum of this joint Master’s Degree is structured into three terms and a compulsory placement, where you will complete 75 ECTS credits corresponding to the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice and Representation and 57 ECTS credits of the Master’s Degree in the Law of Regulated Industries.
The total 132 credits of the joint program are broken down as follows:
- During the first term the students take the compulsory subjects (core) of the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice and Representation (28 ECTS credits, in the morning) and the first specialisation phase of the Master’s Degree in the Law of Regulated Industries (24 ECTS credits, Friday afternoon and Saturday morning).
- During the second term the students take some compulsory subjects which complete the theoretical training in Legal Practice and Professional Activity of the Master’s Degree in Legal Practice and Representation (11 ECTS credits, in the morning), and the second specialisation phase (27 ECTS credits, Friday afternoon and Saturday morning).
- During the third and last term the students enrol in the supervised placement aimed at the acquisition of the competences and skills needed to work as a lawyer and prepare the two master projects.
18 ECTS credits will be recognised. Upon completion, you will be awarded two official Master’s Degrees.

A total of 12 optional ECTS must be chosen from the list of optional subjects offered in the second Semester.
These elective subjects are grouped into three thematic blocks of BANKING-FINANCIAL REGULATION, ENERGY AND TRANSPORT-POSTAL SECTOR. Each student must choose the same block or path where he will take the 4 optional subjects that are part of the same intensification to obtain the Official Master's degree. However, the delivery of each of the intensifications is conditioned to the existence of a minimum number of students based on the enrollment made.
Additionally, the student has the possibility of taking one or two more modules as a supplement to the degree, paying the corresponding fees for the credits of each additional intensification. This possibility of taking additional specialty modules is also open to students of previous editions of this Official Master in the Law of Regulated Industries.
Note: In the block corresponding to the intensification of ENERGY, students must choose only one of the subjects marked with *. However, students who wish may take the 4 subjects as a training supplement to their title by paying the fees corresponding to the credits of the additional course taken.

Important
To be admitted to the Doble Master Degree you have to be admitted by the Academic Committee of the Master in Legal Practice and Representation. If your application for admission to the Double Master Degree is Not Accepted, you can still apply for admission to the Master in Law of the Regulated Sectors if you want.
On the other hand, the admission to the Master in Law of the Regulated Sectors doesn’t imply the admission to the Master in Legal Practice and Representation.
In any case, the resolution will be communicated to the applicant.
- ENROLLMENT
TUITION FEES*
DOUBLE MASTER'S DEGREE IN LEGAL PRACTICE and Representation AND LAW OF THE REGULATED SECTORS Reservation fee1 €1,600 Price EU students €55.96 / ECTS Price Non EU students €240.60 / ECTS Credits enrolling2 132 ECTS 1 Reservation fee will be paid once the student receives notification of admission to the master, and deducted from the first tuition payment. The reservation fee will only be refunded if the master program is cancelled.
2 Admission and registration on the double master's degree course will provide exemption from ECTS credits which will be validated according to the curriculum (see Program). Having obtained credits from both syllabuses, together with validation of 18 ECTS you will be able to obtain two official master's qualifications in little more than a year and a half. This exemption from payment of fees for validating ECTS credits shall only be applicable to students registered on the Dual Master's degree from the start.
NOTE: the indicated public prices do not include in any case, neither the ECTS corresponding to the Formative Complements that the student must take (only master's degrees with previous Formative Complements), nor the cost of issuing the master’s degree certificate.
Important
☛ Once you submit the application for admission, you will have to wait for the official acceptance in the Master program, before starting the enrollment process.
☛ Registration implies effective entry to the master's course as a student.

Additional information
- You may enrol on the master’s degree after completing the admission process and receiving formal confirmation of your acceptance.
- When performing the enrolment you can choose between Full-time enrolment or Part-time enrolment.
- The email address provided upon enrolment will be used for formal communications; students are therefore kindly requested to check their mail regularly.
- Pursuant to the regulations of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, a student failing to pay any part of the fees will not be admitted and the enrolment process will be terminated. In cases of cancellation of enrolment due to non-payment, the University may demand the payment of the pending amounts for enrolment in previous academic courses as a prior condition of enrolment.
No diploma or certificate will be issued if a student has any outstanding payments.
