Internships
The Master's degree in Telecommunications, Data Protection, Audiovisual and Information Society Law has set up collaboration agreements with a number of businesses, law and consultancy firms and Public Authorities relating to the course subjects which enable students to gain practical experience.
This work placement is compulsory for students who are not in work and who may carry out their work placement during hours which are compatible with the course class timetable, or when they have completed the Master’s course in June (validation will be subject to the regulations on recognition of credits) Duration of the practical work will be from eight to twelve weeks. As an exception the work placement may be extended during the academic year.
At times, the work placement may be remunerated, however in general students do not receive a salary as the opportunity to gain highly valued experience and knowledge is deemed to be sufficient.
Selection of students for work placements and assignation of the chosen company, office, consultancy or government office will be made exclusively by the Master's board of management who will take into account students' preferences and prioritise their academic performance.
