INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Sciences!

The Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Sciences is made up of a multidisciplinary team of faculty members and researchers from the fields of biology, biochemistry, biophysics, bioengineering, neuroscience, and medicine. Its main mission is to organize and develop research and teaching in the subjects within its areas of expertise at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Although the department was created recently, its members have an extensive track record of teaching and research activity, as well as nationally and internationally recognized experience in R&D projects.

The Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Sciences is located within the Faculty of Health Sciences on the Getafe campus of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
