HR Excellence in research
In March 2005, the European Commission adopted the European Charter and Code of Conduct for Researchers (C&C), and recommended its implementation to the Member States as a key element to make research an attractive career in the European Union.
Euraxess is a European initiative that offers a wide range of information services and support to researchers who want to pursue their research career in Europe or who want to continue to be involved in research activities in Europe.
The HR Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) supports research institutions and funding organizations in implementing the 40 principles of the Charter and the Code in their policies and practices.
Institutions aligned with HRS4R are recognized by the European Commission with the HR Excellence in Research Award.
UC3M is committed to improving its Human Resources policies for teachers and researchers, in line with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
Two important milestones at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M), the signing of the C&C by the Rector on December 17, 2015 and the recognition granted by the European Union in December 2016.
