Master of Science in Clinical Engineering addresses the need of specific training in the field of Clinical Eengineering. It meets the increasing demand of specialization and professionalization of engineers who work on health technologies (medical engineering, high-tech management) and the need for innovation in the biomedical field and, more specifically, in the Hospital environment.

This Master’s degree is the only one in Spain with a professional orientation focused on clinical engineering and adapted to our social and industrial environment. The students will acquire the competences covered by the Proffesional Certifications of level 2 (ELEQ0108), “Instalación y mantenimiento de sistemas de electromedicina”; and level 3 (ELEQ0208), “Gestión y supervisión de la instalación y mantenimiento de sistemas de electromedicina” from the Spanish Ministerio de Trabajo.

This Master’s degree comprises 90 ECTS credits, including a Master Thesis, distributed in three semesters. There is a high practical content and teaching involves companies and professionals from the industry both for lectures and practical sessions (providing resources and facilities). Moreover, established agreements with hospitals bring opportunities for internships in real clinical settings. Finally, it is remarkable the high professional profile and ample experience of the faculty members as well as the singularity of the laboratory resources available.
