The profession of Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention is strategic in the company since they are the people in charge of controlling and guaranteeing that the working conditions of the workers are safe and effective.
The Master's Management has set as a quality objective to offer a face-to-face, multidisciplinary and essentially practical training so that students can perform with all the guarantees the functions of a career in the prevention of occupational hazards. To this end, you will have professors specialized in specific areas of occupational risk prevention and with more than 10 years of career experience.
The Master's professors (renowned researchers from the CSIC, heads of prevention in leading companies, labor inspectors, technicians from the National Health and Safety at Work Institute (INSST)) are specialists in specific subjects (biological risk including COVID-19, confined spaces, electrical risk, musculoskeletal disorders, workplace harassment, stress, workplace design, among others).
For us, it is also fundamental that the Prevention Technician has an integrated knowledge of the three Preventive Specialties (Occupational Safety, Occupational Health and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology). For this reason, all students complete the Master's Degree with the three specialties in a single academic year. In addition, internships are part of the curriculum so you can put into practice all the knowledge acquired in one of the companies that collaborate with the Master.
For occupational risk prevention technicians who have completed the official master's degree, it is not necessary to apply to the Community of Madrid for registration of their degree for professional purposes.
