- TERA6G at the IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC)
Event Date: 10-14 November 2024, Rome, Italy
The IEEE Photonics Conference (https://ieee-ipc.org), the flagship meeting of the IEEE Photonics Society, will be held from 10-14 November 2024 in Rome, Italy.
The IEEE Photonics Conference’s topics cover a broad scope of technical areas within the photonics community and the interests of our members. The conference sessions include Plenary Sessions, Invited and Talks, Panel Discussions, the Photonics Industry Focus programming, as well as volunteer organized Special Symposia.
Prof. Guillermo Carpintero (https://www.linkedin.com/in/guillermo-carpintero/), coordinator of the European Commission HORIZON 6G SNS Project TERA6G (https://www.uc3m.es/research/TERA6G), will present an invited contribution at the conference:
MB3.1 (Invited) - Photonics-enabled millimeter-wave phase arrays based on Dielectric Rod Antennas (https://ipc2024.exordo.com/programme/presentation/82)
ABSTRACT :Future mobile networks require phase arrays operating in the millimeter-wave and Terahertz range. RF photonics combines the best of both worlds to address the challenges of broadband beam-steerable RF antenna arrays. However, dielectric rod antenas are required for efficient emission from a multi-element semiconductor array.
