Proyecto:

En este proyecto proponemos analizar algunas cuestiones teóricas relacionadas con las teorías de campo definidas en regiones espaciales con frontera. Estos sistemas son relevantes en áreas como la física de la materia condensada, la computación cuántica, la relatividad general y la física teórica. Los principales temas que queremos explorar son i) La comprensión geométrica de los llamados grados de libertad en la frontera, en el contexto clásico y cuántico. Ejemplos de teorías en las que se supone que existen son los modelos de Chern-Simons, BF y Maxwell-Chern-Simons. ii) En el contexto de la física gravitacional, hemos encontrado una rica interacción entre la dinámica de la teoría en el bulto (modelo de Husain-Kuchar) y la inducida en la frontera (teorías gravitacionales). Ambos son muy interesantes por sí mismos y el hecho de que puedan estar tan relacionados es un resultado notable. Una comprensión profunda de este tipo de interacción es obligatoria en este ejemplo y en otras teorías.

Bogar Díaz Jiménez obtuvo su doctorado en Física Teórica en la Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP) en Puebla, México, en el 2017, financiado por una beca del Consejo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnología (CONACyT). Su experiencia previa al programa CONEX es:
-Beca posdoctoral UNAM-DGAPA con José David Vergara (UNAM, 2020-2021)
-Beca posdoctoral CONACyT con J. Fernando Barbero G. (CSIC, 2018-2020)
-Beca posdoctoral VIEP-BUAP con Gerardo Torres del Castillo (BUAP, 2017-2018)
Durante estos postdoctorados él publicó ocho artículos de investigación en revistas JCR con alto factor de impacto y enseñó cursos de nivel licenciatura y posgrado. Él es miembro del sistema nacional de investigadores (SIN) del CONACyT (México):

Sus principales intereses de investigación se encuentran en el campo de la física matemática y teórica. En particular, está interesado en los aspectos clásicos y cuánticos de la relatividad general y la teoría de campos definidos en el espacio-tiempo con fronteras.
