- InicioThis Master’s offers in-depth knowledge on state-of-the-art biomedical technologies, fostering an innovative and enterprising attitude indispensable for a successful career. We are also witnessing a revolution in the nature of medicine and therapies and the way they are produced. The future of medicine will be dominated by concepts such as molecular medicine, personalized medicine and advanced therapies (cellular therapy, genetics and tissue engineering). This change also affects so-called business models, which will clearly be different from those that have existed up to now in the large pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies which, along with our hospitals, will require professionals trained in the new concept of medicine and the technologies supporting it. The Master in Management and Development of Biomedical Technologies is designed to train a new type of professional in: - Biomedical technologies with special emphasis on genetic, biomolecular, cellular and tissue bioengineering; stem cells; nanotechnology and nanomedicine; omics technologies and personalized medicine; systems and synthetic biology
- Management, development and transfer of new biomedical technologies in public and private environments
The students receive an exhaustive practical training in the laboratories of the Department of Bioengineering of the UC3M, which is complemented with the development of a business plan and the Master Thesis in prestigious centers. Since its inception in the 2015-2016 academic year, the master's students have been able to carry out experimental work under the supervision of the laboratories of the Biomedical Engineering Department (TERMeG group), as well as in Public Research Centers, Hospitals and Companies. _______│MASTER IN NUMBERS- ☛ Taught by more than 60 professors and leading researchers in the field
- ☛ The program is completed in 12 months
- ☛ 2 weeks of rigorous hands-on training in specialized World Class Laboratories of the UC3M
- ☛ High employment rate

- CURRICULUM- CURRICULUMFollowing the current trend of the most important universities in European and USA, the Master in Management and Development of Biomedical Technologies at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, unique in Spain in its conception, is a provocative alternative to traditional Masters in Biomedical Sciences. This multidisciplinary Master offers a comprehensive theoretical and practical training in new enabling technologies that are changing our understanding of medicine. The program combines the development of scientific and technological leadership with management skills and innovation -key factors for a successful career in a highly competitive field in the 21st century. The Master will train students both to face a technological research and a business career in the field of biomedicine and modern biomedical engineering. The UC3M has "world - class laboratories " designed resembling the most modern and leading research laboratories in Europe and the US ( Laboratory of Molecular and Cellular Bioengineering , Tissue Engineering , Microscopy Laboratory , Computer Rooms , etc. ). In these labs students will receive a comprehensive experimental training. Training is completed with internships in leading research centers, hospitals and companies.
