Master in verification process for the academic year 2026-2027
Urban mobility has gradually gained importance due to the growth in the quality of life in cities in recent years. The increase in traffic in urban centers, urban congestion, and its economic, social, and environmental externalities are considered key factors in the degradation of the quality of life in cities. Mobility in current cities is characterized by more diffuse movement patterns, with longer travel distances and a continuous increase in the level of motorization.
The concept of Smart and Sustainable Mobility will allow for the construction of the transportation system of the future, where electric and connected vehicles, automated vehicles, autonomous vehicles, and, of course, shared vehicles will coexist. All of this within the framework of a smart infrastructure and with sustainability as a guide, without giving up environmental protection, economic growth, and social development.
