We are in times of big political transformations. The emergence of new actors and the celebration of electoral contests with the most uncertain outcomes even has provoked that the interest in politics has risen significantly all over the world. For all this, there is a large demand in consolidated democracies and recently democratized countries of experts in political and electoral analysis.

The University Masters in Political and Electoral Analysis will provide with the theoretical and empirical skills needed to understand the big questions related to public opinion and electoral processes. With this programme you will obtain the knowledge and the advanced tools on political behaviour and quantitative data analysis, and also a comparative perspective of the incentives of the political actors and their main strategies.

The Masters is a one-year programme throughout which the students will take several compulsory introductory and advanced courses in electoral data analysis techniques and will also be enrolled in a series of courses on political actors and behaviour, campaigns and electoral systems, starting with the Spanish case but going much further.

The Masters is preferably addressed to students in the fields of Social Sciences, Communication, Law or Economy; it is also well suited to current politicians, public administration workers, and people that are occupied in media, social organizations or that belong to the third sector.

The Masters will get you ready for professional careers in survey companies, political journalism in media, think-tanks and research centers, and also in public administrations with interest in electoral data analysis and public opinion.
