What is the ISIC card?
The ISIC International Card identifies you as a student in Spain and 127 other countries. With it, you will enjoy exclusive discounts and offers on travel, museums, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, transport, education, etc.
There is also the ITIC version that internationally identifies university lecturers.
Once you have the ISIC/ITIC card, you can register yourself for the monthly newsletter on the ISIC website. You will receive information on the discounts and benefits you can get.
Where can you get it?
From the 21st October 2019 you can get one from the Information Centres on the Getafe, Leganés and Colmenarejo campuses, which belong to the network of youth information centres in the Community of Madrid. Issuing a plastic card has stopped and a digital card is now available that you can carry on your phone and present in the establishments in which the discounts apply.
The card is valid for a year, starting from the month it was issued.
In the Information Centres, your will have to prove your UC3M student status (for the ISIC card), and also if you are teaching, research or services and administration staff (for the ITIC card).
The price is €6. The payment can only be made by credit card.
