The Humanities Courses will provide to the students with transversal competences and formation applied to all Bachelor’s Degrees.
These are transversal courses that will be developed to complement the training of the student’s daily subjects of current interest for a wider knowledge; focused in their academic development and daily life.
The 6 credits of Humanities will be obtained by passing two courses of 3 credits each to choose among the offered for each degree. You can also obtain credits by coursing UC3M-CBA courses during the summer.
The courses are divided into thematic areas of interest such as Digital Humanities, Performing Arts, Gender and Equality Studies, etc. You can consult all the thematic areas available according to center, study, plan, language and semester in the following link:
Humanities courses are taught in three modalities:
- Face-to-face: with all face-to-face sessions.
- Online: All sessions are taught synchronously online (live). In cases where it exists, the final test is also online.
- Mixed: With 5 face-to-face sessions, 5 synchronous online sessions (live) and 4 asynchronous online sessions (recorded). In the cases in which it exists, the final test is face-to-face.
In the course search, and in the enrollment, the courses of the online modality are marked as "FULLY ONLINE", and the courses of the mixed modality are marked as "BLENDED LEARNING"
