What is Early Admission and who can apply?

What is it? Who can apply?

The Early Admission procedure, run by Universidad Carlos III, is a way to access official degree studies.

Through Early Admission you will be able to get a place, as a long as you have outstanding grades, to study official degrees in UC3M.

A Board appointed by the Chancellor will resolve the admission. The transcripts, final average grade and the marks get in specific subjects related with the main content of the degree applied for, will be assessed.

To whom is directed

  • To students from educational systems other than Spanish.
  • Who have or are in position to obtain studies equivalent to the Spanish Baccalaureate.
  • With an outstanding academic record, 90% of the admission decision will be based on your grades and 10% based on other duly accredited academic merits.
  • Proof of B2 level in the language in which the degree is taught.
  • Finally, if you have studied at the International Baccalaureate (IB), European Baccalaureate (EB) in educational systems of European Union countries, and countries with reciprocal agreements (Colombia, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, Andorra and China), the whole family must reside abroad.

Which Bachelor Degrees can I apply for?

You can apply for admission to any of our Degrees, except for the Degrees from the 4U Alliance Degrees and Dual Bachelor Degrees.

The number of places for this type of access is 8% of our total offer.

If you want to opt for 100% of the available places or for one of the degrees excluded from this Early admissions procedure, you can apply through the General Prescription process (in June). Consult here the information for European Union Students and for non-EU Students.
