The Cervantes Institute recognizes Universidad Carlos III as an Official Examination Center for its Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language (DELE). The University will carry out registration and level testing of its own students as well as that of outside candidates who wish to register and take the exam through UC3M.
 

Letter in which the Madrid Regional Ministry of Education declares its support of the Plan presented by the Universidad Carlos III for the Campus of International Excellence Program.

Letter from the Mayor of Getafe, Mr. Pedro Castro Vázquez in which he states the contributions of Universidad Carlos III to the development, progress and transformation of the municipality of Getafe. He expresses his unconditional backing of the candidature of Campus Carlos III as a Campus of International Excellence. Mr. Castro also states the willingness to enter into any agreements needed for the development of the Campus of International Excellence program.

Letter of support from Mr. Rafael Rodrigo Montero, President of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), in which he describes some of the joint activities in which the CSIC and the Universidad Carlos III are involved; for many years researchers from both institutions have participated jointly in research projects, both national and international. He states the backing of the CSIC for the candidature which UC3M is presenting for Campus of International Excellence, 2009.

Encourage the exchange of UC3M students to carry out in-company internships, final projects, J doctoral theses in CIEMAT, upon completion of necessary procedures.

To develop a joint Pedagogical Project based on the use of the UC3M Padre Soler Auditorium for the preparation of Teatro Real stage productions. The objective of these productions is to train professionals from the area of performing arts as well as to stimulate interest in the Opera, especially among children and adolescents. 
To develop programs of activities related to the education of UC3M students in areas of interest to both institutions by offering the opportunity to combine cultural and artistic activities with academic curricula. 
To facilitate and encourage professional Internship Programs for UC3M students.
